Fractional Sailing
Fractional sailing is an intelligent new approach to sailing, which makes it easier, quicker and far more cost effective for you to get behind the wheel of a brand new yacht. This is how it works:
- A yacht is "shared" by seven Members and one Owner-Member who are each guaranteed, but not restricted to, at least two weekend sail times and five weekday/night sail times every month. Additionally, each Member is entitled to unlimited ’as-available’ use on a 24-hour notice basis at no extra cost.
- Members design their own sailing calendar using the highly advanced SailTime Scheduler, a proprietary online, real-time scheduling system.
- Our 7 members exclusively sail your boat, developing an affinity and ‘pride of ownership’ as though it were their own. Consequently, your boat is not treated like a charter boat.
- You along with your friends and/or family exclusively sail one of our highly specified yachts as it if were your own.
- SailTime eliminates the financial and time-commitment barriers. You pay no maintenance, no servicing, no repairs, no berthing fees, and no insurance. SailTime take care of it all enabling you to spend your valuable time sailing.
- SailTime avoids the expense of charter, the pitfalls of timeshare ownership and the financial commitment and worry of outright ownership.
- Membership gives you sailing access to all of our many bases worldwide.
- Obtain your RYA Day Skipper Tidal practical qualification exclusively and economically on your SailTime yacht through one of our affiliated sailing schools.
- If a Member fails to use all of their sailing time in one month, they can carry it over to the next month. Time can also be borrowed from a forward month. Flexibility allows any combination from a single day to a complete week to be booked.
