About Sailtime
SailTime offers an innovative new approach to boat access and ownership that makes it easier, quicker and more economical for aspiring captains to take the helm of a beautiful, well-equipped sail or powerboat.
Founded in 2001, in Austin Texas, SailTime quickly expanded to 30 bases in North America in its first three years. European expansion began in 2004 with the first base in Hamble, UK.
In 2006, a new company, SailTime Europe was formed with the specific purpose to develop a pan-European network of SailTime bases.
Under the leadership of Managing Director, Jonathan Duffy, SailTime Europe has continued to grow with the addition of more UK bases and a mainland European base in the Netherlands.
Since its early beginnings, SailTime has been providing fractional sailing on 30ft - 40ft yachts, working exclusively in Europe with the Beneteau Oceanis range of yachts. In 2006, we expanded our product line to include power boats launching with Bavaria Motor Boats.
In the future, SailTime Europe plans to add additional bases in all the major yachting locations in Europe.
